Supported housing, social care, social investment
Will leads our work with supported housing providers, helping them to develop impactful specialist housing solutions in the challenging context of budgetary pressure across housing, health and social care. A large part of Will’s work focuses on raising the capital necessary for our clients to build new housing facilities and he oversees investment raises that Baxendale performs across all our clients.
Prior to Baxendale, Will developed extensive experience in growing social businesses as CEO of Alive & Kicking, an African manufacturing initiative, where he raised capital to grow the business into new geographies and implemented a range of employee engagement programmes that helped to improve staff welfare and productivity. Immediately prior to Baxendale Will launched the social enterprise programme at The Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust, where he managed their merger with Blue Sky Development. He sits on the Board of Bounce Back, a London based social business that focuses on the training and employment of ex-offenders, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
