Hugh joined Baxendale after graduating from the University of York with a first class degree to support our work in the healthcare sector, focussing specifically on community health and social care.
Hugh has an interest in the third sector and is passionate about using both public and private initiatives to alleviate poverty and improve access to healthcare. He lived in Madagascar for four months as part of his degree, working for an international health NGO documenting the organisation’s operations and communicating the work with their supporters in the UK.
Before joining Baxendale, he worked for a student storage start-up, scaling operations to a national level and forging strategic partnerships with universities and student societies across the country.
