In 2000, the Baxi Partnership Trust was founded by Philip Baxendale and his family to enable more companies to become strong employee owned businesses. The Philip Baxendale awards, run in association with the Employee Ownership Association are held annually in honour of Philip Baxendale’s vision

  • To build strong companies in employee ownership
  • To ensure these are professionally managed
  • To ensure they are run with regard to the interests of employees as  shareholders and as people

The Philip Baxendale Awards recognise the progress made by companies in working towards this vision.

AWARD CATEGORIES

Champion of the Year

Awarded to the individual who has done the most to support and promote employee ownership within their organisation.

Leader of the Year

Awarded to leaders at any level within a company who have done the most to encourage and support employee ownership within their organisation.

Initiative of the Year

Recognises a company initiative that has contributed to improving or reinforcing the ownership culture.

Company Culture of the Year

Celebrates the company that demonstrates a true culture of ownership whilst maintaining commercial success.
